Your Comfort and Safety is Our Priority

We understand some patients might be a little anxious about undergoing surgery. For your comfort and safety during your surgical procedure, we offer controlled sedation through anesthesia. We work with each patient individually to determine the best option for you.

All of our surgical suites feature full monitoring systems operated by our highly-trained team members. We currently exceed Texas State Board of Dental Examiners guidelines by always having a doctor and two anesthesia-trained assistants present during all procedures.

  • Dr. Naples has completed:
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Saving (PALS) certification for sedated children under 12 years old
  • Our entire team has achieved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross

Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons are distinctive in that they have received formal training in anesthesia through the department of anesthesiology of the hospital system where they did their residency including certification in ACLS, which is required to maintain a standard of care in the office setting.
