We are very excited to announce that Lone Star Dental Seminars (LSDS) has achieved the 2019 Vincent G. Kokich Study Club of the Year Award! With over 260 Affiliate Clubs worldwide, composed of the highest-caliber dental professionals, it is an incredible honor for our study club to be recognized in this way.

The LSDS study club, led by our very own Dr. Robert Naples, represents our practice’s ongoing commitment to education and professional development. Excellence, innovation, communication, experience, and collaboration are core values in our practice, and this award represents each of those values. We received the wonderful news while in Phoenix, Arizona attending the 27th annual Seattle Study Club Symposium.

Symposium is an event that is near and dear to our hearts (and one that Dr. Naples never misses) so getting this award was the cherry on top of a great weekend!

Pursuing Professional Development, Pushing Boundaries, Having Fun

Lone Star Dental Seminars (LSDS) is an affiliate of the parent organization Seattle Study Club. LSDS is dedicated to cultivating excellence in comprehensive dentistry. The organization does so by providing a diverse, supportive community for individuals to pursue professional and personal development.

Dr. Robert J. Naples founded LSDS and has been the club’s director since 2004. The club aims to provide members with opportunities for collaboration, learning, and fun through cutting-edge programming. Dr. Naples works with the study club coordinator to create valuable and engaging events related to dentistry and oral surgery.

These programs result in strengthened relationships within the dental community as well as better outcomes for patient care.

Honoring a Legacy

The first award was given in 1998. This year marks the 24th award given for Study Club of the Year. The designation recognizes exceptional Study Club Affiliates for their:

  • Creativity in programming
  • Dedication of the membership
  • Contributions to the network
  • Commitment to the community
  • Belief in the power of sharing information

Dr. Naples accepted the award with great pride and a big smile. We want to thank all of our study club members, LSDS coordinator Rachel O’Brien, and the entire Naples Team. We couldn’t have done it without your hard work and dedication to excellence.
