New Smiles Contest Winner Announced

The entries are in and we have a winner! This lucky patient is getting a new smile with All-on-Four® on All on Friday®.

Congratulations to our winner Cynthia – Cindy has been partially edentulous (missing teeth) for almost 30 years. She is a single mom and says, “I love to laugh, smile, eat, and enjoy family and friends.” She says she has missed eating crunchy vegetables, salads, and fruit, and is ready to laugh, meet new people, and smile again without worry.

We can’t wait to give you a new smile!

About New Smiles Contest

We created our New Smiles Contest in order to help deserving people in the Travis and Williamson County area who may be in need of major restorative dentistry, but cannot afford treatment.

The winner will receive the groundbreaking All-on-4 treatment for a full arch replacement with our All on Friday program, at ZERO cost to the patient.

Due to medical or dental history, genetics, or other factors, an individual may have missing teeth. Like many adults who are missing teeth, Cindy has sometimes felt self-conscious, though she is naturally outgoing and loves people. Soon, she will have a new smile to show off!

We are very grateful to our sponsor-partners, Nobel Biocare and Star Dental Lab for making this treatment possible, and to Dr. Juli Powell of Powell & Tiller Dental Care who will be collaborating with Dr. Naples on our winner’s care.

Timeline

On September 30th, Dr. Naples & Dr. Powell surprised Cindy with balloons, along with the great news. We completed initial records, the first step of the All on Friday process, for our winner on the same day and we are all very excited to begin!

Surgery is scheduled for our next All on Friday on November 11, 2016. So, Cindy will get new teeth in time to enjoy pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving! We invite you to follow along for more updates; we’ll be chronicling her treatment here, so stay tuned!

We have been overwhelmed by the positive response to this contest by the community, our colleagues, and our contestants. One finalist even remarked that although sad he didn’t win, he was happy that the treatment would go to another deserving Central Texan. Thank you very much to all who entered and to everyone who made the New Smiles Contest possible!
